Getting Comfortable in a New Skin

When we decided to develop our new Web site, we decided that it was time we began hosting a blog to contribute insights and opinions and, admittedly, get to know more people who we might be able to help one day. We then dutifully committed to having as many of us as possible participate as much as possible. But despite my having advocated for it, I’m still working on getting comfortable with the act of blogging. I suspect I’m not alone.

Not everyone is driven to go out into the cacophony of conversation that is the blogosphere and dispense unsolicited professional advice. Not everyone assumes that the world can’t wait to hear their take on one issue or another. But everyone can agree that meeting new people and engaging in interesting conversation is always good and often fun, so here we are.

Now, none of us wants to be like Shannon Paul’s self-serving, agenda-hiding “That Guy” – the guy who’s coyly promoting something. So if we’re going to promote stuff, we’ll do it in the more traditional and upfront context of our “Articles” area. Then you can decide how much weight to give it.

So that’s where I’m coming from. I’ll return soon with some commentary on the art of educating, equipping and engaging sales teams, which is (BLATANT PLUG ALERT) a center of excellence at MossWarner.

I’ll be back. Bet you can’t wait.
