Art Director: Presentation Design Specialist

Location: Full-Time Position in Franklin, Tennessee

MossWarner is seeking an experienced art director with an expertise in creating engaging PowerPoint presentations for a variety of applications – ranging from selling decks to large corporate events.

Candidate must be detail-oriented, have a good eye for layout, and a keen sense for communicating business information in a visual medium. This position requires a strong capability in art direction built on communicating complex concepts through immersive graphic design.

The candidate must be able to juggle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines. He/she will also have the opportunity to design and produce a wide range of other collateral projects. This position involves some travel to operate and edit presentations on locations for events such as sales meetings.

Job Requirements:

  • Design and develop high impact presentations and templates in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Independent conceptual and design development, or in partnership with the creative team.
  • Build and incorporate graphics from Illustrator or Photoshop, and other multimedia components (audio, video, animations, etc.).
  • Create animations, builds and dynamic transitions within presentation software.
  • Apply design treatment to slides including formatting, stylizing, and the creation of conceptual and technical graphics (including charts and graphs).
  • Potential to support other design media, including print, video, and the web.
  • Execution of conceptual work as defined and directed by the creative team.

Specific Skills:

  • Portfolio demonstrating strong graphic design and presentation work.
  • Expert knowledge of PowerPoint, including the use of style guides, macros, animation, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience with Apple Keynote, Sway and Prezi is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel), including the use of Excel data for charts.
  • Ability to work directly with clients while providing onsite production support.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive under tight deadlines.
  • Dedication to clients’ confidentiality.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.

Corporate Communications Account Director

Location: Full Time Position in Trumbull, Connecticut

If you have a strong corporate or internal communications background, and are looking for an environment where you can make a difference, MossWarner may be just the place for you. MossWarner has an opening in our Trumbull, CT office for a “hands on” Account Manager/Director. Day to day responsibilities include developing executive communications for internal and external audiences as well as conceiving and executing internal communications campaigns for our agency clients. The Account Manager/Director will provide both strategic and tactical support for a variety of client communication needs including enterprise wide change initiatives, employee engagement, values-based communications initiatives, internal branding, talent development and senior level executive messaging.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand our client’s objectives and develop effective messaging platforms, communication campaigns, strategies and tactics
  • Develop creative tactics which use a variety of communication channels, including: digital (e-mail, social media, blogs and intranet), print publications and brochures, executive presentations/scripts/talking points, meetings and special events, video campaigns, and Town Hall events
  • Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Creative Directors and project team to ensure clear, timely and appropriate client communications, and timely, high-quality project deliverables
  • Own project results and ensure value for clients
  • Own mid and senior level client relationships and works to contribute strategic value beyond day-to-day operations
  • Develop deep and ongoing understanding of client’s business and industry
  • Consistently cultivate new business efforts through the ability to sell and service full suite of MossWarner capabilities

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Strong client-service orientation
  • Well-developed creative thinking and analytical problem solving abilities

  • 15 years of related experience – CPG/FMCG experience a real plus
  • 10 years of experience in an agency setting or in a director-level or above position in a Corporate Communications department
  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of developing senior level client relationships
  • Experience preparing executive presentations, executive coaching, crafting change or culture communication campaigns, and managing annual employee communication plans.

Copy Writer: Executive Communications

Position Location: This full-time position is based in our San Juan Capistrano, CA office.

Are you a corporate storyteller who has a passion for clear, concise, written communications?  Do you have a strong business acumen and experience with all forms of senior level executive communications? Do you understand how content and visual design can work together to create persuasive presentations that offer fresh perspectives and compel an audience to action?  If your answers are “Yes!” this may be the position for you.

You will work directly with our c-level client executives to understand their communications objectives and develop innovative and compelling ways to convey their message to audiences in the U.S. and Globally.  You will spearhead the creation of the complete story, including developing scripts, writing executive presentations, and storyboards, and providing creative direction to a team of designers to produce engaging presentations.  You will collaborate with client and agency team members, under tight deadlines and a fluid working environment, to deliver complex messages in simple, and engaging (perhaps inspiring) ways.

Typical project activities include:

  • Interviewing clients
  • Developing story concepts and creative treatments
  • Copywriting: scripts, speaker notes, power point presentations
  • Art directing visual metaphors
  • Providing creative direction to our design teams
  • Hands-on presentation editing and production when necessary
  • Managing the flow of our presentation work
  • Working with and coaching clients on-site before live presentations

The successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or Business
  • Has at least 10 years previous experience in similar role
  • A self-starter with excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience writing and delivering business presentations
  • Ability to think visually and recommend graphics to complement content
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment
  • Must have advanced experience in MS PowerPoint
  • Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel, & Keynote
